If you need to ease into this whole writing thing, your page can be the "back flap" which has the synopsis. Thinking about plot and character is a good place to start.

Creativity requires constraints, so the story you write will follow certain attributes. If you're playing with someone else, try following the same constraints. It's fun to see the variations people come up with.
